Grandmother – children and water; water and children. Bring the water of the wells and springs to the children that they might be nourished. Let no child be without clear water. Change this and you change the generations.
Grandmother – breath. Breathe. Change your relationship with your breath. When you are unaware of your breath you are sleeping, even during the day. Learn to breath deeply.
Grandmother – laughter. No words – laughing. Smiling. No words, more laughing. Grandmother laughs with the freedom of a child’s laugh. She says – laughing releases. Too many hold too much. Release and laugh.
Grandmother – Stop digging holes. Real holes, imaginary holes, holes of the mind. Stop digging holes. No one benefits from a hole. So stop digging holes in your life and your relationships. Stop digging holes into Gaia.
Grandmother – Grace – quickly now, no thinking, just being — go be with Grace. There is much grace around. Gather grace, breath some of it in and share it. Sharing grace is complete, whole, sublime - of such wonder that it inspires. Gather and share grace all the time
Grandmother – Bring the children forward. Children are the future the only future. Bring the children forward. No longer think short in time – stretch out seven generations. Bring the children forward in all that you do. Let this guide you.
Grandmother – Speak the truth. Reveal your thinking and feeling. Speak the truth. Share what you need for nourishment, Speak the truth. You notice many things speak the truth of your noticing. Stop pretending, speak the truth.
Grandmother – My sister says breath – here is another form of breath – Listening. Relationships do not breath without listening, Attention to me – Listening is the foundation for all possibilities. Listen words, feelings, intentions, wounds, spirit. Make it a practice to listen to spirit.
Grandmother – Return to nature. Nature is the cure for sadness, unease and disturbance. Return to nature. Let the trees heal you. They are the great providers and have much to teach. Feel the earth, feel the streams, feel the trees, listen to the sounds of nature. See the rivers, lakes and oceans.
Grandmother – healer. Come forward the healers, for there is much wounding. Anyone can be a healer. Come forward. Learn to offer healing energy through your touch. Healers offer healing they do not heal. Heal the children, heal yourself, heal your relationships, offer healing where there is violence.
Resting deep within your communities are grandmothers. They are a natural source of wisdom. The change that could occur if you release their voices of the around the planet cannot be calculated. Grandmothers hold the traditions of the past, sharing them for the benefit of the children, family, and community.
There are many wounds in both your relationships and communities. Grandmothers emerge as natural healers through words, sound, wisdom, music and energy.
Great is the loss when grandmothers are separated from the children. Everyone’s soul aches from this separation. Combined, children and grandmothers are a natural form. They complete one another. There is a sadness in communities that place children in school and grandmothers in rest homes, isolated from one another.
Encourage the grandmothers to meet together, for they will find the measure and timbre of their voices when they sit in circles. Women who already sit in circles, invite grandmothers to your circle. If you are a grandmother who has found her voice, your time is well spent helping other grandmothers find their voices.
Invite grandmothers to advise and counsel on issues of the community. When they sit in a circle, the wisdom of the ancestors flow and the energy patterns of the future are revealed. They deeply hold the generations of children yet to be born. Of all members in a community, grandmothers naturally experience future generations and bring the presence of future generations into the decision-making process.
Grandmothers radiate well-being. The silence of the voices of our mothers and grandmothers exists everywhere in societies around the world, in both the most prosperous countries and the poorest. When you release the voices of your mothers and grandmothers, you will grow and become more awake as a global community.
