This is an invitation to go on a journey to discover what is natural for you, your relationships, and your community. The energetic definition of natural is that which supports growth and healing. We associate natural with the qualities of: 1) flourishing, 2) healing, 3) possibility, and 4) a movement of grace.
Just because something repeats itself over and over again, does not mean it is either your nature or that it is natural. Solving problems and differences through violence, verbal or physical, while frequent and repeated, is not natural, nor is it your nature.
Judging, evaluating, ranking, rating, one another or your children to determine who is best is not your nature or natural.
The wide spread destruction of the planet’s living systems and species, to support humankind to live in a certain way, is not natural. No one species can rule a planet.
There is much confusion in most communities, aided by many who wish to tell you what to do, how to behave, and to define natural for you. Often they are telling you, what you must do to be attractive. Focusing on being attractive has little to do with being natural. However, discovering ways to be natural will always lead to you being attractive.
Here are some suggestions for you to consider about discovering the natural.
1. Food – what food is natural for your body? Try to sense what food has the most life force or natural energy in it? What foods will help your body attain its natural state?
2. Listen to the Emergent – Listening is a natural way of being. There are many forms of listening – to yourself, to others, to what wants to emerge in any situation. Carry this question with you and apply it often. What wants to emerge in this situation that is natural that will support everything to flourish?
3. Ask for Help – Asking for help is a forgotten way of being. For many it has been taught that it is a sign of weakness. One person asking for help and another responding creates a mutual space of service and both people flourish. The natural is always to be found in service.
4. Take your Problems into Nature – The potential for possibility exists the strongest in nature itself. Take your problems, dilemmas, conflicts and spend time in nature – those spaces created by the planet itself, not humankind. Do this with the intention to learn.
